You know what I'm going to miss a lot when I get out of college? Being able to sleep anywhere, at any time. When I was a freshman, this kid I knew named Paul used to take midnight walks and eventually fall asleep on the May 4th Memorial. People always slept in the dorm lounges when their roommates had their significant others over. Yesterday while walking to work I saw a woman sleeping on the ground with her head propped against a pillar. Right now there's a man no more than 10 feet away from me snoring rather loudly. I think that's great. In the rest of the world you'd probably be arrested for vagrancy for doing such a thing, but not on a college campus.

People even play in the fountain in front of the library. Yesterday some woman bought three girls to play there. They played tag and splashed around in their little bathing suits. Today some guy was standing on the top of the fountain (a dangerous place to be) in his swimming trunks. Where else would you be able to play in a public fountain? Only on a college campus!
